Personal
All training is personalized, because no two dogs are the same! At the end of training, we spend a few hours doing an in-person turnover in your home to allow you to feel comfortable continuing their obedience.

Programs & Rates
Basic Obedience
- 2 week program
- Teaches the core commands of come, sit, place, down, and heel with an implied “stay”, as well as basic manners (no jumping, no mouthing, no counter surfing, etc.)
- A large amount of training is spent improving impulse control and confidence by working around varying types of distractions
- Half of the training takes place in and around the trainer’s home, and half is spent in public spaces learning to be obedient around distractions
- This program is ideal for dogs that need help with basic obedience and manners, and for owners with busy lives who struggle to find time for consistent training for their dogs.
- Includes unlimited virtual assistance after the program
Advanced Obedience
- 3 week program
- Achieves all of the same obedience as the Basic Obedience program with less reliance on the leash, and more practice around distractions to make the transition back home even easier
- A large amount of training is spent improving impulse control and confidence to ensure your pup is obedient and responsive enough to reliably behave around varying types of distractions
- The majority of training is spent in public spaces and working around whatever is most challenging for your pup
- This program is recommended for owners who want their dogs to have a high level of obedience, for dogs with fearfulness, anxiety, or reactivity, and multi-dog households.
- Includes unlimited virtual assistance after the program, and one in-home refresher
Elite Obedience
- 4 week program
- Achieves all of the same obedience as the Advanced Obedience program, with the additional option of off leash reliability around high levels of distraction in public spaces
- A large amount of training is spent improving impulse control and confidence to ensure your pup is obedient and responsive enough to reliably behave off leash around varying types of distractions
- The majority of training is spent in public spaces and working around whatever is most challenging for your pup
- This program is recommended for owners who want their dogs to have the highest level of obedience, off leash reliability, or for dogs with fearfulness, anxiety, or reactivity, and multi-dog households.
- Includes unlimited virtual assistance after the program, and two in-home refreshers
Discounts and Upgrades
It is standard practice that there are multiple dogs being trained concurrently. If you have more than one dog in your household that you’d like to send to training, we offer a 5% multi-dog discount on each dog being trained. Do you have a friend or family member interested in training? Coordinate with them, and we will honor the 5% multi-dog discount on each dog being sent to training as long as they’re trained at the same time! If you would prefer that your pup is the only pup being trained during their stay, you can upgrade to our Solo Student program for an additional $1,500. You must inform us of this request prior to booking your specific training date so that we can be sure to accommodate. If you would like to receive video updates every weekday evening, you can upgrade your program for an additional $300. Additional in-home refreshers are available for purchase. We offer a 5% discount to any active military personnel or veterans.

Pet Requirements
Temperament Evaluation
- No human aggression
- No dog aggression
- Fully potty trained
- You must own the dog for at least 30 days prior to training
- If your dog goes into heat during training, training will be rescheduled until the heat cycle has ended
Must be at least 5 months old
Young puppies have short attention spans, so we want to make sure that your dog is old enough to retain the information!
Must be up to date on all vaccinations
Please provide digital/hard copies of vaccinations records including bordetella prior to training.
Please have pet up to date on flea/tick preventative when seasonally appropriate.

I sent my two mini goldendoodles to board & train at the beginning of July. The results were mind blowing. Shannon sent us video updates and pictures (the pictures were so so beautiful) every day during B&T of Nova and Comet’s training topic for the day, providing tips for each dog as both have unique personalities. Shannon took the time to get to know each dog separately and loved on each one. The video updates are great reference tools now that I have both comet & nova home. Shannon also sent us a written “Turnover Recap” which is amazing, very thorough & answers almost any question you might have. I strongly recommend Shannon for Board and Train! “Thank you” doesn’t express how grateful we are for Shannon.
Shannon did an incredible job with our litter mate labs. After two weeks of board and train, they already follow commands that were nothing but frustrating previously. We have to reinforce them at this point, but Shannon is awesome! She communicated with us thru the whole process with daily texts and videos. She was always incredibly prompt and available. We would recommend her to anyone who wants a dog that follows commands. Our highest recommendation!
